Acupuncture
Acupuncture uses very thin, sterile, one-time use, disposable needles to stimulate specific points on the body to correct imbalances.
Insertion of the needles goes unnoticed by some, while others may feel a heavy sensation, or a pleasant dull ache. These sensations are the needles connecting with your energy, known as Qi. Needles remain in the body anywhere from 5 minutes to 45 minutes depending on what you need
The time with the needles unblocks stuck energy and initiates transformations across all levels of the self. After the treatment, people usually notice changes ranging from profound relaxation, decrease of pain or other symptoms, or an increase in energy and clarity.
The number of acupuncture sessions needed depends upon the nature and severity of the symptoms, and how long they have been present. Initial acupuncture sessions are scheduled as often as four times per week or as little as two times per month.
Responses vary, with some individuals requiring only a few sessions, while others need sustained care in order to reverse entrenched patterns established over a long period of time. As symptoms improve, fewer visits are needed.
